WARDOGS Trailer Guide: Official Videos in Order

Watch the official WARDOGS trailer archive in order, compare Reveal, Gameplay, and Gunplay videos, and separate pre-release footage from final game facts.

Which WARDOGS trailer should you watch first?

Start with Team17’s Reveal Trailer, published alongside the February 2026 announcement. Then watch the Future Games Show Gameplay Trailer for a longer look at the advertised 100-player, three-team battlefield. Finish with the Gunplay short if your question is specifically about weapon handling.

This order follows the official release sequence, not a claim that one video is a newer final build. Each upload is pre-release footage and can show features or visuals that change during Early Access. Use the Steam page and current announcements for live access, prices, and version information.

What does the Reveal Trailer confirm?

Team17’s official announcement introduces WARDOGS as a Tactical All Out Warfare FPS developed with BULKHEAD and planned for Steam Early Access. It describes one hundred players split across three teams fighting over a Control Zone on a destructible battlefield where cash is earned and cash is central. The announcement also links the official Steam, Discord, and Playtesting signup destinations.

The trailer establishes the game’s advertised identity and broad loop. It does not provide a complete weapons list, map catalogue, faction bonus table, or final control scheme. Read it as a reveal of direction and setting, not a technical specification sheet.

What is different about the Gameplay Trailer?

The June Future Games Show video offers a longer pre-alpha gameplay view. Its official description highlights 100 players, three rival teams, Control Zone fighting, cash, and surviving long enough to bank the result. The Steam announcement adds that the extended footage shows tactical firefights, proximity voice chat, building, and destruction.

The video is useful for understanding the relationship between infantry, vehicles, objectives, and the player-driven sandbox. It does not freeze the exact map, spawn rules, payout, vehicle model, or destruction result shown in a frame. Any page that extracts those details should label them by build and source.

What does the Gunplay short show?

Team17 published a dedicated Gunplay Shorts video, showing that weapon feel is an explicit development topic. The official tactical-depth material also discusses real-world ballistics and audio models while emphasizing a playable shooter. Together, these sources support the intended direction of grounded but accessible gunplay.

The public Shorts page does not expose a complete subtitle transcript or final weapon table. Do not infer damage, recoil, time-to-kill, or attachment performance from a short clip. Those values are unavailable until an official source or reproducible Early Access test documents them.

Are the trailers official?

Yes, the three videos linked here are uploaded by Team17, the publisher’s official channel, and the reveal article is hosted on Team17’s site. That provenance distinguishes them from creator uploads or re-edits that may use “official” in a title. A creator’s Closed Alpha video can still show useful gameplay, but it should remain clearly labeled as creator or test footage.

Official provenance does not mean final data. A publisher trailer can show a pre-alpha build, a planned feature, or a cinematic sequence that is not a player-facing rule. The current Steam listing and dated announcements take priority for release and access facts.

Can the trailer prove a feature is live?

No. A trailer can prove that Team17 showed a feature or visual in a particular promotional context. It cannot prove that the same feature is available in the current Early Access build, has the same balance, or follows the same controls. The page should use verbs such as “shows,” “presents,” or “announces” rather than “guarantees.”

This matters for vehicles, factions, maps, towers, and the metagame. A planned fighter jet, a visible weapon, or a building scene needs a current official release note before it becomes a database entry. If a video conflicts with a newer announcement, the newer dated source wins.

Where can you watch the latest official video?

Use Team17’s official WARDOGS page, Steam announcements, and the Team17 YouTube channel. The Steam community feed also links gameplay and developer updates, making it useful for checking whether a trailer has been superseded by a newer build. Avoid mirrors that remove dates, descriptions, or the original publisher attribution.

The official record collected for this page does not include a complete subtitle export. If a detailed article needs verbatim video evidence, obtain the transcript manually and attach it to the source record. Until then, cite the video link and summarize only the public description and clearly observable context.

What remains unconfirmed?

Final build visuals, exact video subtitles, weapon numbers, map layouts, tower codes, vehicle specifications, faction bonuses, release changes, and feature availability remain unpublished when they are not stated by a dated official source. The trailers are strong provenance for the advertised direction, not a replacement for patch notes or a live database.

The direct answer is to watch Reveal first, Gameplay second, and Gunplay for weapon feel. Embed the official videos with their dates and version caveat, then verify every gameplay claim against the current Steam and Team17 record.
